Week 8 Update

5^th Grade Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

Our eighth week together has come to an end which means we’re nearly halfway through the first semester of Grade 5. With this in mind, please note that our mid-semester break is coming up soon, after which our Parent-Teacher Conferences are next on the agenda. Before then though, we will have our Fancy Dress Day on Tuesday, October 31^st which is the week after next.

What we learned This week

Math: Topic 4 – Dividing by one-digit divisors.

Literacy: Styles of Narrative/Personal Narratives

Science: Chapter 1 – Properties of Matter

Social Studies: Ch. 3 The Civil War and Reconstruction
